On Sunday 26th August we will be going to Ingleborough Cave.

I will be leaving Hunmanby at 8.00am.

I will be stopping at the McDonalds on Harrogate Road in Ripon for a comfort stop, fuel and also to pick anyone up who wishes to join me.

Mc Donalds. Harrogate Rd, Ripon HG4 2SD

Dinner will be at the Toft Gate Barn Cafe before visiting the cave. [really good food].

Then its over to Hawes and over the Buttertubs Pass to Tan Hill Inn.

From here will will make our way back via Ripon and the North Yorkshire Moors.

We will arrive home at whatever time we get home.

Here is a link for the cave.

Who fancies joining me.

Hello Geoff,

I would like to attend weather permitting.  Can meet you somewhere between Ripon and Otley way if your passing by.

We met near Dacre Banks / Brimham Rocks last time.

Regards

Michael

Hi Michael.

Great to hear from you.

I remember that nice ladies drive. :t-up:

Is the McDonald’s at Ripon no good for you.

There should be a few of us coming over and I don’t think that ladies drive will accommodate us.

I don’t have my laptop with me to look at my route in detail.

The McDonald’s is just on the south edge of Ripon.

No problem.  I can meet you at McDonalds at Ripon or let me know the route you plan to take as you travel west from there.

Michael.
