As we have quite a number of members outside the UK, then they would appear to think so. It’s barely more than a single Westfield sized tank of fuel in this country. But in the end, no one can make a value judgement like that, but yourself. You may well decide that no it’s not worth it to you personally, and that’s fine. It’s your calculation to make. How much return you get depends on both how much you want to put into the club and how much you want out in the form of discounts etc. I appreciate that many discounted items might be a bit tricky, depending just how far away you are. But in terms of how much you put in, then your geographical location doesn’t really matter if you want to take part heavily in the on line community and via the club magazine. We’d certainly love to hear of experiences from a different countries perspective, but we can’t force you to contribute! (And nor should we.)
