Thanks everyone for all the comments.

Buttercups nosecone is split and there is damage to the paintwork. The splitter is also damaged. I was able to drive home. I am not sure what else as there are some "wet marks" on the garage floor that I noticed today so I am going to have a further investigate tomorrow.

Gutted for you Geoffrey......  it’s naff when the edge gets knocked off your pride and joy.....

Chin up...... you’ll soon be ‘blatting’ around again!!!

Yesterday parked up on the A449 between Ironbrigde and Bridgenorth and driving over the river Severn at Bridgenorth with a couple of views of Bridgenorth. Great drive and great weather. :db-westy:

Yes it is, I made it out of 5mm perspex and used rubber edging strip around the outside. I found some Velcro straps on Amazon which fit though slots cut into the perspex.

No image, but photo related......apologies.

I seem to recall seeing images of I assume NW members driving over rivington/belmont area. And I'm sure the images were snapped by the same person who takes the photos of the bikes too. Just wondering if anyone knows the links or sites they may be on as I came through there at weekend and wondered if I'd been snapped? Any help appreciated

Cheers

Seems to be more compliant but the R888Rs have a fairly robust sidewall - Mrs H with me so not the most spirited drive to scrub them in.

@jonjh1964 What width and offset did you choose with your new wheels?
