Just fitted a SPA steering wheel I picked up from the classifieds on here from @GarethHDand well pleased with the feel and position after making up a new adaptor plate 😁

Just back from an 80 odd mile run out.....roads lovely and quiet early on and a chance to test the soft cut on the rev limiter on most of the changes lol...

Here she is back on the drive having a well deserved rest...

Result is I can spend the rest of the day grinning from ear to ear Jack Nicholson style😁

Managed to get out early in the Eleven and drove Yeovil -  West Bay - Abbotsbury - Dorchester - Yeovil; the bay at Weymouth was full of cruise liners (not the best photo).

Enjoyable drive on a road that I wouldn't normally have gone anywhere near at mid-morning on a sunny Bank Holiday - quite depressing when I thought about how quiet it was, the cruise liners and parking next to the SEIW that's still SORN'd as June rapidly approaches.

Went out for a drive and come a cross this art work on the wall of a bridge and I couldn’t help myself, I had to stop for a pic.

A fellow member of Burton Car Club put the shout out for members to do a suprise socially distanced driveby for a friend of his who was celebrating his 50th today and is sadly dying of cancer. His family has arranged for him to be sat in his front garden at 2pm.

 

Amazingly almost 20 cars turned up (Allegro, Princess, Humber Sceptre, Mustang, Escort RS Turbo, 850 Mini, TR7, TR6, MEV Rocket etc). 

 

Hopefully we cheered him up with the revving and beeping 😂

 

PS Everybody was fantastically well behaved  when we met up. The people you see close to each other are family members (father and son, or husband and wife etc) so no rules broken 👍

I took the Westy to the great guys at Bogg Brothers in North Yorkshire on Saturday for a rolling road set up! What a fantastic place and a great all round set up they've got there. Well worth the 200 mile round trip - the Weber's are now set up perfectly after a few issues previously with fouling plugs.
