They're cheap in the UK at the moment too! DIY-Si Posted August 30 Posted August 30 With the upgraded bulbs in my XI, even with the lights being a tad lower than on a 7, I've always been pleasantly surprised at how effective mine are. Quote

The cycle continues after daybreak. These are Hella Halogen bulb conversions. I've not driven anything that new so know no different ! They seem OK, I've got a proper Mini and the sealed beam units seemed OK on that to be honest. I don't know if being round and big in diameter they just work. Modern stuff has to be so small and fancy shaped. Quote
Ewan Posted September 1 Posted September 1 I now have a working fuel gauge. Which is a first, in my 4 years of ownership! 2 Quote

No, you have a fuel gauge that while it indeed “works” does not necessarily generate accurate information. You’ll find it’s there for both amusement and empty tank terror, just like what the rest of us encounter. Trust only your trip odometer. 2 Quote

Jaime Ward Posted September 1 Posted September 1 New to me, Westfield SEiW, turbo Mazda 1.8, 370hp on high boost. Mechanically not much I want to do to the car, but I would like to make a carbon tub and hood for the car. Any ideas if there are any moulds around? 4 Quote

Those Mazda engines do seem to turbo-up really well. 370bhp! I'm assuming that's not on standard internals? 1 Quote
