Likewise, its sun flare off the lens I would say, looks cool though - maybe not on an XI though ( or maybe, lol)

No mate, but vehicle identification wasn’t needed - but a couple of points to consider - contacted 20 + local garages - 3 said yes they can - got there & find they couldn’t - so Chemix Autocentre in Wednesfield - 3 miles from Wolves sorted it - I removed cycle wings on car park & they manually program the reading’s - toe in/out + chamber etc

luckily the chamber was within literally within tolerance (1 corner was 1min out) didn’t alter as it was in NSR & no work been done on rear of car (plan for Xmas 24) - toe in however was way out.
I had original set up tolerances + previous print outs which was then input on the PC &  once completed have the readings on print-out. Happy Days 🫶🏼

Thanks for that.

Last year I asked at national tyres and the guy said he couldn't get past

the first screen.Vot is your car!

I tried to put forward that maybe there is a base setting to allow you to

adjust to your own specs but he was adamant it wasn't possible.

Love those wheels SteveG. What are they and what size.  Thanks.

Thank you. Only had the car just over a week and I didn't fit them. My google-image research though points to them being Avid1-AV12's. They're 15" diameter, unsure of width or offset I'm afraid.

I had the same. The big tyre guns - Quick-Fit, Hi-Q, National or said no others said yes till I turned up then said no.
Chemix Autocentre done the work 👍 & Four Ashes MOT Centre plus TTR motorsport also could have done it but not for a few weeks. Chemix was same day 👍👍

Has it run lately Robin?

Posted

Started with no spark on Good Friday. New distributor cap, rotor arm. Carbs needed to come off as rotor arm was rusted in. New fittings for carbs, started fine. First time out today, started ok, then started missing, then stopped. Wouldn't start again. Fuel pump not working, so tapped back into life. AA followed me home then car stopped on my street again. Taking the pump off tomorrow and see about a new one. Don't know how old it is, but it's been fine for the 11 years I've owned the car.

Was wondering if it was what I just went through after a 6 month, lay up - but yours sounds different. New pump I think, one of my old ones needed tapping then one day it stopped altogether on a run. I got one from someone on here, those red top ones, but I do have a fuel reg to limit that down for carbs.
