I have put slightly stronger springs on but still soft.. and it has reduced the roll a little and improved turn in.. The cheap Kumhos were hanging on ok too!! 2 Quote

It started slipping coming out of the Esses in 3rd and 4th gear. A couple of laps later chasing a 420R, something went, resulting in a bad vibration through the gearstick / tunnel and gear selection become very difficult. Quote

You may have stripped some lining off the clutch disc. Similar happened to me years ago. Flat out in 2nd, went for 3rd, got 1st instead. Large pieces of lining went into the springs of the cover, and jammed it up properly. Extreme vibration. Lucky the over-rev didn't hurt the motor. Quote

Good job you are experienced at getting engine in and out! 2 Quote
Mike Rowland - Essex AO Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago My roll cage windscreen has worked well for some years now, so I fancied adding windscreen deflectors using a similar clamp idea( @KevanP has done similar). Nearly as much weather protection as I had 30 years ago oh well 4 Quote
jasesonix Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Went to Blyton twice last year in my westy. Loadsa fun but had setup issues with my suspension. After 1st time i stiffened the springs a bit thinking it would make quite a difference but still found it hard to turn in. Will have to keep experimenting i think. Good track though for the Westies Quote
DeanMegaS2000 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago A day left unsupervised, so tried to do some of the Northumberland 250 route. I went Warkworth to Blanchland. Got a bit lost. I need a better app for routes. Google maps kept trying to send me back to Alnwick. It didnt automatically tick destinations off. But an enjoyable 130 mile run out. 5 Quote

Good shout as I think mine are a bit on the heavy side (thickness wise). Quote
