Its all about the driving for me too.

My "record" in one day in the Westy was the final day of a European road trip. A grand total of 1171 km.

Innsbruck Austria to home in the UK

Good effort, especially in a Westy.

As we speak, I'm looking at routes home from Como for my trip in September, but it'll probably be a night each at Strasbourg and Bruges and definitely not home in a oner! 😆

Just been out for my first drive, a 10 miles shakedown.

Running quite well, although the no fuel level showing. A positive start!

That's fantastic that you've been out already, just in time for the beginning of summer.

For the first few miles I was listening out for strange noises and odd vibrations. I hope you don't have too many!

My fuel gauge still doesn't read above 3/4 full even when full as it needs calibration. It'll never be accurate given the shape of the tank 🙂.

Enjoy!

Wow ! ! !

Mine most issue is left foot comfort. Apart from long straight motorways  in one gear where I can put it straight front of clutch pedal, foot is not naturalny bend above 90deg. Long foots long legs.. i need longer cockpit Westfield :)

Spotted by my local contact near The Eagles Nest.

Not surprising as there are some great roads there.

Awe brilliant, was there last year 👍

Are you going to Salzburg too? If so I'd recommend the Red Bull Hangar 7, some amazing machines in there. I also visited the Castle where they filmed 'Where Eagles Dare' a personal highlight for me.

This MNR really dont want to be driven...year ago few laps and front  suspension issues , seems sorted , today battery went almost flat (5 yrs old , some of that yrs not charged, and tired with resting electric reverse..   I know , i should or chage for new. Especialy i was observing some visible  voltage droops after every start...But i was not aware that bike engine cant work after start with external battery.. (is really true ? - question for BEC Users )

Chat GPT says that in motorbike engines is fundamental to have some battery capacity . The same said  motorbike mechanic met in depo.

Anyway, another DNF with MNR. With Westfield it was only one in first track run, then many trackdays always finished and on podium.
