Euan Hoosearmy Posted February 25 Posted February 25 Depending on which side your exhaust runs.... If I'm taking my son out in mine, I have the door fitted on his side so that hands don't find the exhaust by mistake... Son is 13 and TALL so I don't have the seat worries, but he's SEN so needs a little extra monitoring. 1 Quote
eggontoast Posted February 25 Posted February 25 Duratec so drivers side exhaust on mine. Almost the first thing I said to the girls about the car was that the exuahst is verboten! Quote
Captain Colonial Posted February 25 Posted February 25 You could put the child on a rack daily to stretch them to the correct height but in my experience, they tend to go all floppy and saggy and moody and resentful. Alternatively you could trade them in for an older, taller model. I hear car boot sales, kid’s football matches and Ariana Grande concerts are good places to go shopping for bargains from disaffected parents. 1 Quote
eggontoast Posted February 25 Posted February 25 To be honest and based on recent growth, it'll only be 3.5 days before they're able to dunk an MBA regulation hoop. As long as I keep supplying the oft demanded eggs and bananas, that is. Quote
Euan Hoosearmy Posted February 25 Posted February 25 @Captain Colonial moody and resentful seems to come as default with teenager. We've not needed to stretch ours as he's too tall as default 1 Quote

Popular Post Morris Posted March 2 Popular Post Posted March 2 Had a nice drive out this afternoon to Elstree Aerodrome for a cuppa and some cake. It took an extra 10 minutes to exit the carpark with people coming up to have a chat 🙂. 16 Quote
Popular Post Matt_S Posted March 2 Popular Post Posted March 2 Nice but chilly drive up to Haynes Breakfast Club meeting this morning, flying the flag for the only Westfield there today! Kevin didn’t mind though! Had to double back on my way there though because of this….. 12 Quote

evosteve Posted March 3 Posted March 3 It looks like Colyford, not been past there for a while. I remember filling up there in the 70's with 5 star, sat in the back of dad's P4 Rover. Quote
