Yorkshire breakfast meeting and Trolleybus Museum, Sunday 17th June

I know it's only January, but here's the first organised run for this year.

The Trolleybus museum is at Sandtoft near Doncaster, and I plan to leave The Red Kite on Denby Dale Road and head through Wakefield to Doncaster and on to the museum.

More details nearer the day.

What time does it open

Not sure, I need to plan the route but think we'll be arriving about 11-11:30.

This is on the same day as the breakfast meeting, so if we meet at the Red Kite at 9 instead of 10 for a breakfast and aim to leave at 10 for run over to the museum.

With a month to go, who's interested?

The breakfast meeting will be earlier this month, meeting at 9 am and leaving the Red Kite at 10 so we can get to the museum for around 11.

Anyone interested?

Had a good turn out for breakfast this morning with 2 new cars coming, a Robin Hood that lives locally to me and my mate Gary in his Cobra. After breakfast we had a ride over to the trolleybus museum at Sandtoft where we met with Ron, who was just leaving, and Geoffrey and Dave coming in their tin-tp. It's a great little museum seeing buses that were built where I served my apprenticeship, a long way before my time though. There was 1 bus built in my time. At least I enjoyed myself, but it was a bit like being at work.

We even had cake.

Had a brilliant day here.

This place was really interesting and the cinema was a brilliant 20 minutes or so.

Thanks @Robin (Red Spider) - Yorkshire AO for organising.
