Warwickshire Area meeting Thursday 16th November

Hi all,

It is the Warwickshire Area meeting tpmorrow Thursday 16th as usual. As many people have taken their cars off the road for the winter so there is unlikely to be Westfields in the car park but we will be tucked up at the back of the bar. If you have not been to our meetings before and you are not sure about finding us inside then please look for our new table top banner that clearly identifies us.

We currently hold the meeting on the 3rd Thursday of every month at the Falcon Inn in Hatton.

With people starting to turn up from around 19:30.

I've missed tonights meeting, but this is good to know if i can make the next one. I'm never really sure about going to meetings as a newcomer when you don't have a car, so this is a great idea.

Hopefully my car is getting closer to finished so it may make it to a meeting eventually

Hi Mike @Valentinik, 

I know what you mean as when I first started going to area meetings I sometimes had difficulty finding people in a bar when there were no cars or other obvious ways to identify them, even the bar staff were of little help. More recently we had a couple of members in Westfields come into the bar, have a drink and leave again without finding us! The table top banner is designed to overcome the potential anxiety of identifying us so that members who have not attended a meeting before may find it easier to do so and your comment seems to justify our idea, so thank you. BTW Mike, we have met before as I delivered some suspension units to you from Trevturtle!
