Hi

I have just joined WSCC, with view to purchasing a Westfield in the near future, I intend to have the car for some road use, track day and speed events. Can any body give me some advice as to whether purchase new second hand, any idea's on spec or what budget I should be looking at/

Regards

Welcome Paul to the club. @Gary (KugaWestie) - North Oxfordshire AO   is your local rep, who will be here shortly to help you on seeing local cars and give ideas on what to look out for. There is plenty of different cars out there to choose and mostly budget makes the decision for you.

Thanks @Thrustyjust

Paul, welcome to the club.

Your best bet is to come along to our local meet - details in my signature below.

As had already been said, the way to do it is to set yourself a budget and then see what you can find within it.

Unless you are extremely lucky/resourceful it will be cheaper to buy than to build. Building one is a great experience and teaches you a lot about the car and how to maintain it though.

:ww:Paul.

As already said, get along to your local meeting to talk to owners and try to see some cars before making a decision.
