Weekend Warrior
My eBay bought set of Toyo r888r arrived and I had them fitted yesterday , as it was raining I took it straight to its garage and put it away . Took it for a blast this morning and noticed the tread patterns on the wheels are different , have they been fitted correctly , perhaps they should be like this ? Thrustyjust
Is there a direction arrow? Can you swop them round ?
Rusty Nuts
What does the rotation direction indicator on the tyre wall say
Weekend Warrior
There doesn't seem to be a directional arrow ,but the word inside is on the tyre on the inside edge . i thought the were a good buy ,but they look a little odd . CraigHew
They're fitted correctly, and the outer tread pattern is what it is, ie non-directional. You're not the first to query this btw...!
Andy (Sycho)
This is the trouble with r888r's they are not paired that's why I stick to r888's, call it OCD but it would bug me being odd But as said check the arrows on the tyre.
Ian Kinder (Bagpuss) - Joint Peak District AO
@Sycho as stated above, no arrows on them just inside and outside.

I can live with the fact they look a bit odd [you should see the wife ] as.long as all is well I can push on with confidence.
