Does driving a Westie burn calories..?

Recommended Posts

After an hours taz about tonight I got home properly tired.

This made me wonder, driving a Westie is not like getting into your S class and waking up in Switzerland.

Can we count a potter / taz / blat as cardio vascular exercise and eat a few extra pies to compensate for lost energy?

And you're usually cold which must burn a few as well...

If you're cold you're not working hard enough which means you're not driving fast enough

Apparently ,  best way to burn calories off using public transport is by pulling a rickshaw :t-up:

Raised heart rate, perspiration, increased muscular tension - all signs of aerobic exercise, so I'll go with yes!

I use more calories just getting in the thing and faffing with the belts, after that the driving is relaxing.

Thread revival.

I noticed  http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/41416402  Lewis Hamilton: Could a vegan diet hamper his 'racing edge'?  which wonders if he could lose his aggression in the F1 title race because of the diet change.

Also the article says 1500 Kcal used on race day by F1 drivers.

So I guess I burn about 100 Kcal on my westie runs.

For Fluffies Sake...

So now he is a Diamond earring wearing, need time with my piano, vegan F1 driver..?

What must the champions of the past be thinking in the great pit line in the sky (as they slap each other with raw steaks and poop in each others helmets)
