IainCameron Posted April 27, 2020 Posted April 27, 2020 Fantastic job! And those seats are a work of art! Quote
Rob Hunter - Club Secretary Posted April 27, 2020 Posted April 27, 2020 Wow, you've done an amazing job, you have some serious glass fibre skills! Beautiful looking car, hard to believe it's 25 years old! Quote
Burgerbob Posted April 27, 2020 Posted April 27, 2020 It looks great! Very tidy. And I'm well impressed that you have done so much of it yourself. At some stage in sure I'll upgrade my seats and I like the look of your boot cover, but I won't be making them myself! Quote
TableLeg Posted April 27, 2020 Posted April 27, 2020 Your Fibreglass skills are exceptional! Amazing work😎 Quote
Alan Cutler (Adge) - Dorset AO Posted April 27, 2020 Posted April 27, 2020 Impressive work, great to see, well done. Quote

Mighty Mart Posted April 27, 2020 Posted April 27, 2020 Fantastic work and a credit to you. With skills like those, I'm surprised you even bothered to source anything...it looks as though you could make anything you want. Those seat look fabulous...good enough to give up the day job lol... Andy Malone - Editor Posted April 27, 2020 Posted April 27, 2020 Really nice work mate, impressive. I've literally just started the refresh of my '95 SE this week and this is great food for thought. Quote
GaryD1971 Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 That looks amazing! As has been said already, you would not think that car is 25 years old! Great skills, you should be very proud, and you have kept the whole ethos of kit car ownership alive by being able to say " I made that!" And I still wish it was mine.... 😁 Quote
Martyn Vann - Warwickshire AO Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 Great car and fantastic skills, well done! Also, the work you have undertaken to update your car would make a great article for the magazine if you could send it to the editor! Quote
Kingster Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 Can’t believe you made your own seats! Amazing. 👍😁 Quote
5even7 Posted April 29, 2020 Author Posted April 29, 2020 Thanks for all your kind comments. I wasn't sure if people would really appreciate another classic clamshell car being updated but I just couldn't sell this and buy a newer one as it has so much sentimental value to me. Time to start thinking about engine choices now. Quote
