Yamahasam Posted July 31, 2017 Posted July 31, 2017 Evening all Looking for a suitable pair of 4 pot calipers for the front of my Dax rush, it's running sierra uprights with standard sierra calipers and vented discs. It doesn't have the fancy Dax anti roll system which in lead to believe alters the type of caliper fitting required. With 300bhp and doing a few track days I'm just looking for a little more positivity when on the brakes. If anyone has anything suitable please give me a shout. Thanks Sam
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman Posted July 31, 2017 Posted July 31, 2017 Interesting take on the Seven, the Rush, and a neat attempt to update it. As for Sierra front uprights, our Westfield Sierra SDV has the same uprights, so an SDV owner might be able to help. I think he's converted to Cortina style front end, now, as there's more choice of upgrade parts, but @Chris King - Webmaster and Joint North East AO Might know, his is an SDV type car. Oh and we'd love to see pics of the Dax; it's the variety of cars some of our owners have that makes this such a fantastic club! 1
Robin Parker (Red Spider) - Yorkshire AO Posted July 31, 2017 Posted July 31, 2017 Dax Rush is now owned by Man Motorsport in Kippax, Leeds, West Yorkshire. They might be able to help. 1

But if it is any use I have the adapters from my old Sierra uprights to allow Wilwood 4-pots to fit along with some discs like these so if you can source the calipers it might be an option. There's two Dax Rush owners who we get out with most weekends - one is a turbo hayabusa and the other a turbo Cossie 4x4. Nice cars!
Yamahasam Posted August 1, 2017 Author Posted August 1, 2017 Thank you all for the replies it's much appreciated, I knew some of the Westfield's run sierra hubs so thought it might be worth an ask. Attached below is a picture of said Dax, Many thanks Sam 1
AdamR Posted August 1, 2017 Posted August 1, 2017 Interestingly, most 4-pot calipers won't actually give you any better braking than the M16s. What pads are you using?
