If I wanted to go from Leicester to St Andrews and take in some nice scenery maybe a stopover as it's a long way and some nice little detours will add to it where would you go and stay for the night?

  • This will get you up towards Edinburgh

Its my route to Scotland and the roads are not fast roads but there is all sorts on the route to see and do if you wish too.

There is also some great scenery along the way.

It would be nice to stay at Whitby or around Alston area.

I may join you for a bit of your trip if that's ok. Subject to when you go.

I would join you for around Hull to Loftus if that's the way you went.

Whitby is a nice place to stay and you could see some of the moors etc plus a bit of the coast.

Yeah for sure that would be great. The time I'm thinking is the end of the month to get to Scotland for the Blair castle nag trials which I think is the bank holiday weekend so it might be mid week

Hi Dom.

I doubt I would be able to do mid week but let me know closer to the time.
