Funnily enough just been chatting about it this afternoon. 

Have been looking to see if there were any “interesting” European motoring/motorsport events onto sort of hang the trip around.

Just back from a trip down to Lake Como. Stelvio so much fun we got up at dawn to go back and do it again (video to follow). Simplon was good too. Highlight was some awesome valleys through Austria (Landeck area) and being invited to take part in a vintage Tractor rally!
