DMS Posted February 6, 2003 Posted February 6, 2003 I've only had my SEiGHT for a couple of months but having it and living on an island with a 40 mph speed limit is starting to get a little frustrating! So I want to pop over to the UK (it'll be fun getting on the boat with my underslung exhaust and zero ground clearance) and do something - but I don't know what. Can anyone recommend an outing that would be enjoyable. A track day would be a bit beyond me - perhaps something more along the lines of a session with someone to help me get the best/most enjoyment out of the car. Any advice much appreciated. Quote
Bananaman Posted February 6, 2003 Posted February 6, 2003 Give us a clue which island are we talking about with 40mph speed limit? Andy Quote
DMS Posted February 6, 2003 Author Posted February 6, 2003 Jersey, so nothing too exciting. I've done brief spells in Grand Cayman, BVI, Nevis and the Bahamas as well but none with the "silly car" as my two year old madam calls it. There are some great twisty roads here to have a blat but I always stick to 40 Besides, there's always the risk of meeting a tractor or cows coming the other way Quote
westy Posted February 6, 2003 Posted February 6, 2003 no need, you can have plenty of fun sideways at 40 Quote
chrisbin Posted February 6, 2003 Posted February 6, 2003 no need, you can have plenty of fun sideways at 40 yes but he was referring to 40 mph I think.... Quote

DMS Posted February 6, 2003 Author Posted February 6, 2003 hmmm.... Tried that but the boys in blue tend to get a little narked at such activity on public roads Quote
