Simon Waterfall Syman84 Posted July 5, 2017 Posted July 5, 2017 So with some last minute additions to the 30 year old pre lit. I think I'm ready for my first event, just hoping some of you lovely bunch will give me a few pointers if I can accompany you round the track walk and also have a look to make sure I'm blue book compliant for scrutineering. Feeling like a kid at Christmas. See you all Friday 5 Quote
Terry Everall Posted July 5, 2017 Posted July 5, 2017 come and introduce yourself When are you getting to Blyton? What car number are you??? 1 Quote
AdamR Posted July 5, 2017 Posted July 5, 2017 Great stuff, you're going to love it! Timing strut, catch tank, yellow marked earth lead on battery and marked on-off for ignition should be all you need As Terry says make yourself known when you arrive 1 Quote
Marto303 Posted July 5, 2017 Posted July 5, 2017 As above come and say hi, I'll be hanging around Friday and happy to help where I can. Martin 1 Quote

graham frankland Posted July 6, 2017 Posted July 6, 2017 Hi Simon We have space at the Gluten Free Dinner at the local pub tomorrow night if you would like to join us? I also have a space on the mini bus to get you there and back? (1st one leaves race track around 6-45 and the second one shortly after 7-00 pm This will give you the opportunity to meet a lot of the guys and get some really useful insights into sprinting! It kicks the w/e off in a good spirit we think! Just let me know ASAP please I will be at Blyton hopefully before lunch tomrrow Hope to see you at the dinner? Regards Glutey (Graham) Quote

If you mention to Panda who is the event organiser and on the speed series organising committee that it is your first event, I am sure he will actively make an introduction to a more experienced competitor.
