CosKev Posted July 2, 2017 Share Posted July 2, 2017 Ref the fitting of a low oil pressure warning light it's usually too late once that comes on anyway,the damage is done. The only warning system that will let you know the oil needs a top up/is getting used etc is a oil level sensor in the sump. Very few car engines have these fitted.
