Lucky guys going to Scotland. I used to live up there and there are truly brilliant roads, especially on the west coast. Watch the main roads on Skye - they are very bad a full of potholes! I don't know your route but the Kyle of Lochalsh to Fort William road is wonderful. Soon as I get a Westy or equivalent I'll be heading up there. Safe trip!

The route sorted, ferry is sailing over to Skye again, we must do that again this trip, we will be keeping mainly on the west side of Scotland, Applecross, the Wee Mad Road, Durness, we might have a paddle in the sea if its not to hot. just got to get car cleaned, cake iced and pack the t shirts and shorts.

Looks like you lot are going to have good sunny drive on Sunday. Mike and I are going to get very wet on Saturday !!

We have arrived safely. 

Rain was biblical!! All the way to Glasgow.  

All fed and watered.

Have a great trip guys and gals, just had 10 days up there in our Westy, loved every second even when soaking wet.

amazing roads and awesome scenery and 'biblical' rain

But thoroughly enjoying every minute. Shared the road at one stage with 2 Mclarens and a 911 Porsche and a load of Aston Martins.
