Onliest Smeg David Posted May 4, 2017 Author Posted May 4, 2017 Thought I'd post a provisional plan asap to provide some idea as to the time/distance of potential route.... https://goo.gl/maps/W25HbezFHDH2 Meet M6 Tickled Trout Services, leave at 1030 Quick blast up M6 to get to Lakes & start the proper driving Over Kirkstone Pass and on to Threlkeld (We can stop for early pub lunch here, or head on towards Ambleside ) Fuel up BP Ambleside Over Wrynose pass to Seathwaite (Option if time to head N at Ulpha a short way for great views and photos) Back via Newby Bridge, Ingleton then South (some options for smaller roads time allowing) In all around 5.5hr driving plus fueling for us and Westies, but can easily adjust route or shorten if peeps wish (may do top loop after initial M6 clockwise) Edit: All change - see last post!
