As much as I would love to travel in convoy with you fine gentlemen I will have to drop out. 

All the gear for the show will be in a van which I have the keys for so I really need to be there earlier otherwise people will be standing about.

I think it is open - if it's not, then one of our lot's mates will be camping outside the fence!

Saturday is set up only, you will only get in if your details are on WSCC helpers/Exhibitors list issued to Stoneleigh! unless you hide him in the boot of your westy!

I'll let Chris know - but surely the public campsite will be open?

His two mates won't need access to the 'show' just camping. Chris is the one I mentioned above whose arriving with his BMW - ideally he needs access as he's carrying a load of my gear and (importantly) the North East Area Flag!

@Chris King - Webmaster and Joint North East AO Ive just checked and camping is available from 10am Saturday until midday Tuesday, but for free camping on WSCC plot the names/car details need to be on WSCC list,

That's fine, Chris will probably be camping with his mates (at his cost) - he was just offering to help and so if you can add his car details in, that would be great.

Yes we are adding his car details to revised list going to Grosvenor (as per pm) tomorrow so he should be OK

Just like to say thanks to Markus and Smeg for organizing this; it was the first time I wouldn't have done the NW convoy on the Sunday, and confess I was going to miss it.

Instead it was really nice to do a mini convoy down, with Chris and Sanddancer from the NE, too. And over a few nice non motorway roads for most of it.

(including the traditional u-turn!!   )
