KugaWestie
Does anyone have one of these? Will a widebodied Westfield fit on one?
Greggs
I have one, its a great little trailer. My car is a narrow but with a front wide track and that has about 60mm spare at either side. I take it you are looking at the 3m bed length as I think they do a 2,6m bed too Ideally the bed could do with being 3.5m as the nose on mine sits about 350mm into the A frame, but that does create a problem for me. HTH Greggs..
KugaWestie
Thanks Yes 3m bed. If I have got my measuring correct, as you say the nose will sit over the front, but the rear of the tub will be roughly level with the back of the trailer? Greggs
I always make sure the back isn't hanging over. there is still plenty of room to use the jockey wheel. The ramps coming out of the bed is a real bonus, my ramps are on 1.6m and with the trailer at full height on the jockey wheel I just have enough clearance Brian James do make 1.9m ramps if required they are just under 300 quid. KugaWestie
It tows alright @Greggs? Not too much weight on the towing hitch? Roughly where do the trailer wheels sit under the Westfield? Got a photo of yours loaded on?
Greggs
Hi Gary, it tows very well its a little bumpy at times when empty, but when loaded tows great. my tow vehicle is a 520D and it pulls it with ease. i will be loading the car on it saturday and will take some photos if you can wait till then.
