Kingster Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 Same time, same place folks. Will be going through plans for the Highland Fling 2017 - 10 cars, 6 days, lots of empty roads! Quote
windy Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 Can you confirm venue please? The ao page is saying 3rd Wednesday! Not sure if venue is correct? Date is obviously not. Ta Quote
chriss1455 Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 The church mouse in chester le street. Postcode DH2 3RJ It used to be the 3rd Wednesday but has been changed to the 2nd for some time Quote
Kingster Posted January 8, 2017 Author Posted January 8, 2017 The info on the main website's "area map" is well out of date. As Chris says it's the 2nd Tuesday of the month at the Church Mouse near Chester le Street. We usually get there around 7.30 and leave around 10.00 Bit of a hike from Cumbria I'm afraid! 1 Quote
windy Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 Thanks. About an hour from where I live I reckon. Do people meet there for food or just a pint and a natter? Quote
Kingster Posted January 8, 2017 Author Posted January 8, 2017 A few of us tend to eat there too. Food isn't too bad. Quote
chriss1455 Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 Those that do get food normaly order when they arrive so yeah the 7.30 is good for food Quote
Kingster Posted January 8, 2017 Author Posted January 8, 2017 Graham, I'll turn up a bit early just in case. Quote

How strange, I remember updating it some time ago, but certainly hasn't got the new info now... I've just re-updated it, can someone check I've got the pub details correct, thanks! Quote
Kingster Posted January 8, 2017 Author Posted January 8, 2017 Nope. Still got the old meeting venue on the map. Edit: @Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - WSCC AO Rep The map now has correct info but pin is still wrong. Also if you can provide the map data as a kml file I can add it to the main member map on here. Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 The pins easily enough moved, though never tried it from an iPad! I didn't set the map up, so have limited info, but I'll see what I've got! Quote
Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 Have sent you an email invite via the Google maps app @Chris King - Webmaster and Joint North East AO, you should be able to edit it too, now. 1 Quote
