gas or water pipe

i don't want to ever move again .... :)

 

tried the heating thing and it didn't make much odds to the temp of the pipe.  Im not overly keen on chopping the top off, seems like a recipe for disaster and an article in the Liverpool echo!  

we have pretty much ruled out the prospect of using it if its a gas line anyway, just need to make sure its safe.

How's about using an ultra sound scan or something similar , or whatever you scientist types use to check the density of whatever the contents are , might give you a clue ?

 

You cant really ignore the issue now ,  its gone too far , we all need to know the answer   :oops:  :oops:  :oops:  

 

or to quote  the words of an infamous doctor ...
