dombanks Posted October 28, 2016 Author Posted October 28, 2016 i don't want to ever move again .... tried the heating thing and it didn't make much odds to the temp of the pipe. Im not overly keen on chopping the top off, seems like a recipe for disaster and an article in the Liverpool echo! we have pretty much ruled out the prospect of using it if its a gas line anyway, just need to make sure its safe. pistonbroke Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 How's about using an ultra sound scan or something similar , or whatever you scientist types use to check the density of whatever the contents are , might give you a clue ? You cant really ignore the issue now , its gone too far , we all need to know the answer or to quote the words of an infamous doctor ... "Is It Safe " Quote
