TAFKARM Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 Anyone know how to do it - connecting phone to PC isnt an option. Quote
Rhett Turner - Black Country AO Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 Yes it can be done, I've created a few in the past. Summary of process is "To turn any song into an iPhone ringtone you must edit its start- and stop times in iTunes, convert it to AAC, rename the file extension .m4r and then add it to the Tones section of iTunes." Basically the ring tone can only be so long, must be based upon the AAC format and needs a different extension. do a search on "creating ringtones for iphone" and there are plenty of examples. Quote
TAFKARM Posted October 7, 2016 Author Posted October 7, 2016 So i can only do it through itunes? Thats that out then, what a waste of 99p! Quote

TAFKARM Posted October 11, 2016 Author Posted October 11, 2016 Hi Paul - I've tried that I've given up now, even with the apps you need to to connect to iTunes which I can't do. Ah well it was a nice idea! Quote
