Which Steering Wheel

Recommended Posts

Posted

I can imagine this one has been done to death, but I will plough on regardless......

Luke has my steering column to weld up a Rapfix QR boss (well I think he does, but that's another story!).

Are there any steering wheels that have the three hole 50.8 PCD pattern on them and if there are, recommendations?

Thanks and any links to previous threads on this would be welcome.

You need a non-drilled wheel and drill the holes yourself.     There maybe some 3 hole ones for sale, someone else may know later.

If I drilled it myself, I would probably end up with six holes before I got it right! :d

Thanks and I quite like the look of the Sparco 260 with the flat bottom. Doesn't have the PCD on the spec as far as I can see.

For some reason, the second link doesn't work.

It's easy, Kev - I'll do it for you if you think you'd dangler it up

Easy? Have you got a pillar drill tucked away in your workshop?

yes, but a steady hand drill and a centre-punch is enough if you're good

PMSL steady and hand drill are three words I have NEVER linked together!

That will be PCD you are looking for.     A 260mm wheel ?????    That's very small, you sure?

Aye, 260mm is tiny. I've only met one or two drivers that like wheels that small on a Westfield.
