Kevin (Mr T) Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 I can imagine this one has been done to death, but I will plough on regardless...... Luke has my steering column to weld up a Rapfix QR boss (well I think he does, but that's another story!). Are there any steering wheels that have the three hole 50.8 PCD pattern on them and if there are, recommendations? Thanks and any links to previous threads on this would be welcome. Quote
SootySport Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 You need a non-drilled wheel and drill the holes yourself. There maybe some 3 hole ones for sale, someone else may know later. Quote
Andy (Sycho) Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 There's some here: http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorsport/steering-wheels?refine=fixing%20method:undrilled%20formula%2Fsingle%20seater Or couldn't you use one of these: http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/search/3%20hole%20steering%20wheel Quote

Doesn't have the PCD on the spec as far as I can see. For some reason, the second link doesn't work. Quote
Andy (Sycho) Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 Mm it worked for me, try this http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorsport/steering-wheel-bosses-accessories/momo-3-to-6-hole-steering-wheel-adaptor Quote
Kit Car Electronics Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 If I drilled it myself, I would probably end up with six holes before I got it right! It's easy, Kev - I'll do it for you if you think you'd dangler it up Quote

Did think about that and my local engineering company could probably knock one up for me. Would rather do without if I can. Thanks again for the advice. Quote
Kit Car Electronics Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 Easy? Have you got a pillar drill tucked away in your workshop? yes, but a steady hand drill and a centre-punch is enough if you're good Quote

Marcus Barlow - Show and Events Co-ordinator Posted October 5, 2016 Posted October 5, 2016 got this one on mine, cheapest decent quality new suede one I could find, drilled it myself for the qr boss, centre punched though a cad template http://www.europaspares.com/volanti-range-260mm-suede-flat-solid-centre-steering-wheel.html Quote
