Hi guys .. another low turn out for this run?? .. on saying that, I was personally never going this Sunday due to car issues

How did the run go today ....

Passed Bob on his way home .. I was out in the Tiger for a short run.

First time out the garage since Applecross.

Only 4 turned up which was a shame however the roads were great and mostly empty. Got caught in 1 shower but wasn't too bad. Nice plate of soup at st Mary's loch though.

Aye, the uptake for runs this year, apart from Applecross, has been kinda low but glad to hear that you guys had a good time.

Good run Jim. 235 miles for me door to door. Good mixture of roads. Although only 4 it was easier to stay together other than one two short stretches where it was hard to pass. Rained as we hit Talla and Megget and climbed up the hill, so no stops for pictures.

Rae had literally turned off a mile down the road from where I passed you. Lots of roadworks heading towards Garion Bridge for me on the way home but fine after that.

Dont be disheartened Rab. We had a great turn out for the Ballater run. You know yourself, not everybody can make every run. Even if we got 2 or 3 big runs a year plus 3 or 4 smaller runs it would be great fun.

Big turnouts are a great sight but tend to get split into smaller groups either by traffic or just through differing driver ability or driving style.
