Not a day goes by that I don't think about her.

Ah, you're having flashbacks, I think they call that PTSD Stu!

All of them. I wish I'd had a barn and put away all the cars I'd ever owned. They were all sold off to get the next one, but are most worth a lot more now than when they were sold.

Honda Civic CRX 1.6 Vtec (coupe not targa)

I had a 1989, G reg CRX, but not a Vtec, had to go when 2 kids wouldn't fit in the back.

Great cars but rear seat for bags only,

Although had 5 adults for drive up to Dales once.

Must have been very small adults.
My mother in law was the only person to sit in it properly, but she was only 4' 10".

I built this in 1976, did 92,000 miles in it and sold it in 1983 for more than it cost me to build it.  This is how it looked when I found it again in Sheffield in 2000.  Just after that it was bought by an Italian bloke who drove it back to Milan - it could still be driving around there.  It was good to know that a car I built was still going strong 24 years later and I sort of wish I'd bought it back just for old times' sake.

My first 3 cars, in order of ownership: 1937 MG TA (given away for free!); Austin Healey Sprite frogeye (sold for, IMSMC £150.); Austin Healey 3000 Mk. IIA (sold for £400.).

The last one grieves me the most, as it was in mainly super condition, and was written off by the son of the buyer after about 3 weeks, having been purchased I believe as a 21st. birthday present for the son.

Have only three cars that I very much miss and regret selling  , Firstly my mk2 golf Gti with only 2000 mls on the clock  , had her for seven years and loved every minute of ownership right up to selling to a mate , only reason for selling at that time was due to more babies , could have stored it away and now wish I had ,  No .2 was my first Westfield which was the 2001 Westfield stand deal on offer at the time , money was tight then and only got her up to rolling chassis stage before having to let her go (very sad day)  , lastly my Raffo Tipo 12 , had always had a soft spot for le mans style racers so when I had the chance to purchase this one  in the local paper I was there like a shot , after rapid test drive and accidently being challenged back then by an rs turbo escort made me buy on the spot , the car handled like on rails even in the wet it was hard to lose it so when it came to a new relationship I decided to let her go , bad mistake as I saw it last year for sale at ten times more than I sold it for ........gutted , never mind one thing for sure will be keeping the current westy for a few years yet due to upgraditus ...Mark

Mine was just a standard turbo model but it's the one car I wish I'd kept. It's been about 7 years but every time I hear that flat four burble I wish I'd kept mine.

I sold my Prodrive WRX last year, had it from new and kept it for 10 years - Only way it was 'affordable' was it only did 7k miles a year, wonderful to push hard in all weathers, very rewarding car to drive. Running costs were steep driven well it used to do 15-18mpg and as a daily driver was getting hard to justify with fuel and insurance. Was gutted to see it go but every now and then you do have to have a reality check ... now have a new Cooper S which is clearly slower but still fun to drive ..

I do miss the flat four burble tho ...
