Geoffrey Carter (Buttercup)
We will be leaving Scarborough McDonalds at 6.00am on Sunday 1st may to drive to Stoneleigh. The route below is not set in stone and happy to amend.I thought this route would merge with the lads from up North and also the lads around Leeds so we could perhaps all travel down together.Thoughts or comments welcome. Our route will be as follows but this takes in a number of motorways. SCARBOROUGH. DRIFFIELD. HOWDEN. M62. M18. M1. I will also plan another route so we can head over the Humber Bridge to avoid so much motorway. PLEASE SEE POST NUMBER 3.Would anyone care to join us / meet up with other convoys en route.
Kingster
I'll be heading down Saturday with the North East contingent Geoffrey, so if anyone is going earlier they are welcome to join us. Yet to plan a time or route but the less motorway the better!

TAFKARM
I could try and pick you up around Newark, are there dedicated stop / pick up points?
Geoffrey Carter (Buttercup)
Hi Russ. Not at the moment but happy to propose some. I will update tonight.
TAFKARM
Two or Three stops along the way is probably a good idea, its a long old trek for you boys and your old man bladders.
Geoffrey Carter (Buttercup)
No need for stops. I have a funnel on the end of a tube that goes through a hole in the floor.

Geoffrey Carter (Buttercup)
Hi ru I'll meet you there if it's not too much bother for you. What time? 8.00am should be fine unless you want to get there at 7.45am in case we are a bit early. It will take us an hour to get to the Humber Bridge from home. Wont take us long for a wee, cuppa tea and a sausage and egg McMuffin.

Yanto
McD at Newark looks as if it is the closest suitable point for me to join you, so I'll meet you there. There are some nice roads between home and Newark (wrong direction for Stoneleigh) but worth the detour
Geoffrey Carter (Buttercup)
Morning Yanto. Thanks for joining us. We will see you there. Might have to get you to show us the roads one day.
