nigel
Stu What size is the diff? Thanks, Nige
stu999
Nigel, its the 7 inch 4x4 Sierra LSD. If the rest of the spares retreived off the car is anything to go by it will be a good buy. Mechanically the car was nigh on perfect, its demise due to the dreaded tin worm. The only reasson my mate didnt use it on his kit is because he obtained a Cozzy one. Why? I dont know.... HTH Stu. stu999
The diff is still up for grabs. (3.6 to 1) Thanks for bringing it to the top, mate, other folk are also showing interest.....
catflap
will it be a straight swap for my 3.3 mate? and would i need to get it reconditioned?
stu999
Yep, its a straight swap. But it will alter the gearing (decrease the top speed of your car slightly, higher revs per mph). IMHO I dont think it needs reconditioning. Drop in and drive! Stu.
catflap
Ill take it mate (any point haggling? Or is 100 squids what he wants?) dam this car is costing me an arm and a leg all of witch i don’t really have LOL Just looked at my tyres and they are BALLD on the back, better put a post asking what’s best Here is my mail mate drop me a line and ill we can arrange what we need to (im in midlands)
stu999
Do you know the ratio of your existing diff? If it does work out to be drastically different, you can always get your existing CWP fitted in. But that is more expense....... Sh*t, I'm doing my mate out of a sale here. AFAIK the 3.6 is better suited to folk with CEC's. And yes, it is always worth haggling, after all, it has been hanging around for a bit now. If you are sure you want it, PM me and we'll organize something. Cheers, (think of the donuts) Stu.
