Lots of thank you's....

 

Thank you to all who made me feel so welcome, I timed my arrival almost to perfection as the rain stopped  :yes:

 

Thank you for the passenger rides, it was nice to see/feel the comparison to mine (Stu your car is ......... quick!).

 

and finally, a special thank you to Martyn & Sue for the BBQ  :d  :yes:

I did eventually make it back lol. I had a great day great food and great company. Thanks martyn and sue for the cooking and organising.

Top bunch of westy people which made us feel very welcome.

Also what a car finkangel. Thanks for taking me round the track..Wow very quick :)

I Think I spent more time off the track than on it in the morning but had a great day all round & even the Mrs got a couple of laps in.

Already looking forward to the next day out.

What was the diagnosis on the noise?

not entirley sure yet mate

the engine is out and on the stand waiting to be stripped but i didnt get chance the weekend.

looks like te rear crank seal has gone starving the cyclinder closest to it of oil so potentially bottom end rebuild

but i inteneded to take it out and rebuild it over the winter anyways

either way i had great fun on the trackday and ill definetly be at the next one
