Julie, Are you heading over the Strines?

I might wait in the Mustard Pot car park in Midhopestones just before you hit the A616 if you're going that way?

Are you still aiming to be at the café for 12:00?

Matt - yes we are going via the Strines so we will be going past Midhopestones at 11.45 am and we will stop by the Mustard Pot for you..

Robin -  that gets us to the cafe at 12.00.

Providing the Glossop boys are on time.

With the current weather forecast this is ON  :t-up:

Sunday does currently look to be better :)

Could we make it 9:30 @ Tesco Glossop?

Should only be 40-50 minutes to Baslow from there via Hayfield/Chapel en le Frith.

9.30 Glossop Tesco's. see you there weather permitting.

Wow, this time last year (11th Jan) Glen and I went out on our own because nobody turned up. What a difference one year on, well done everyone, this time we have

Glossop

Rickyboy, Smeg, Bioman, Marcus and Steve

Wheatsheaf

Us, Russ, Dave

Oil Can

Robin, Barry and Andrew, John and Jackie

I have tried to book a table (blooming heck, I should book the cafe I think) but you cannot make reservations, the lady tells me that they do have a queuing system now that seats you as tables become free.

The lady also mentioned that at 3.30pm car clubs can arrange for an exclusive tour of the garage followed by steak pie and peas/drinks for £14 per person (min 20 people), just a thought for when the days get longer.

Weather is looking OK, 5 degrees, some sunshine with a chance of a shower, more crucially it does not look like it is going to be frosty. So the nasty gritter man might not be out tonight. The roads will be wet with running water on them though, and no doubt our favourite cow poo stuff too, so keep your mouth covered!
