Ride to Blackpool illuminations on Saturday 3rd October.

What sort of timings are you looking at for the Saturday ? ie, leaving Hunmanby, passing Thirsk, Leyburn, Hawes etc ?

Hello.

 

Looking at leaving Scarborough at 9.00am. Over to Summerbridge for 11.30am. Hawes 12.30pm for dinner.  Over to Hardnott Pass for around 3.30pm before then dropping down to Blackpool area for tea. Then see the illuminations and leave Blackpool when we have travelled up and down the front which will take a couple of hours if it is like last year.

 

These times are approximate as there will be cup of tea stops and photograph stops along the way.

 

The drive is to also see the scenery and not bomb along.

 

Also dropping down from Hardknott Pass I wont be going down the motorway as shown on my map of the route. I propose to go over to Ingleton and drop down to Blackpool via Haighton green.
