Wendz had a great time despite trepidation before on going to a "geek meet", even though I was an also ran fighting to avoid the wooden spoon in 2014.

In fact she's been pestering me to book the Lee Marston for Months.

The Discounted rate is £99 B&B (standard rack rate is £152 or advanced booking rate £117) for couple. This can only be booked by phone.

 

BUT if your stopping for 2 Nights (Fri & Sat) then the WSCC discount is not the best deal   - that will be the '2 Night Escape Break' @ £199 which includes B&B and 1* 3 Course Dinner (i.e. The 3 course dinner costs you £1  )     which can be booked online via the Lee Marston website or by Phone.

 

So that's what I've booked, going for the £1 meal deal on Friday
