CAMBS - 30th Aug BBQ on the beach Brancaster

Recommended Posts

Ok guys here's the times

Usual meet up points - 10am at mine for the Peterborough (PE7 3NR) based chaps and the Cambs lads at the same time at Tescos in Milton Cambridge (if any coming from that direction - please communicate between yourselves)

Then converge at Arbuckles Cafe just outside of Downham Market at 11am ... once all together a tootle out to Brancaster for some top BBQ food as
prepared by Chaz

All you need to do is bring some meat to sling on the fire (all sauces and rolls etc will be provided) so who's in? and I shall bring cake that will be cut on the back of my car as is tradition :d

oh and if anyone has a cricket set, bats, balls, baseball etc etc then feel free to bring them along - why not bring wifes and kids :t-up:

If you need any further details give a ring on 07809 516659 or drop me a PM

Spoke to Chaz last night just to confirm details - it's full steam ahead and we will be on even if there is rain forecast

Looking forwards to it :-)

Just bring meet and drinks

Ok guys slight change of plan - it is now chucking it down here - so am going to take TVR

I have been liaising with Chaz - if it is wet when we get to brancaster we will go for fish and chips at wells next the sea instead

So we are still on :-)

See you at mine or downham or brancaster :-)

Hope you all had a good time.  I only got back from France last night after a 13 hour drive and didn't wake up early enough to join you.  One day, my diary won't clash with something and I will be able to come out and play.

No probs Matt

Well we got wet - it started to rain before we left so the westfield was not deployed as above and we did end up having fish and chips at wells next sea and some homemade cake as supplied by my good wife

Thank you to Chaz and Mags, Dick and Marion, James and the kids, Terry and Dave, Matt and the wife and Sean for turning out despite the weather

Still had a good time :-)

Edited to add: Mark J and the boys
