John Williams (Panda) - Joint Manchester AO Posted May 13, 2015 Author Posted May 13, 2015 Anyone? I could go to amsterdam and borrow some, but mrs panda would not be happy! Quote
XTR2Turbo Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 John I am happy to make something that could be powered from a 12v car battery if that would help. Do you have a spec? How far will the Marshalls be from the light? Do you need one light or a pair? How high off the ground ? etc Quote
John Williams (Panda) - Joint Manchester AO Posted May 13, 2015 Author Posted May 13, 2015 Why not a red flag John? the marshall post is too far from the track for the driver to see... Quote

Nemesis Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 I've just replaced a pair of indicators and a pair of brake lights on the ASBO. The old units are free to the cause if they are any use, they are the round units. Quote
Nick Algar - Competition Secretary Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 The ones in use on other tracks are traffic light size and normally 2 off them. Very bright of course. Quote
Shaggydoo Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 I know what we can use.... Lights off a level crossing. There is one nearby that never seems to be used properly, i could take em off for the weekend then replace them on Monday morning because that would be stealing if I didn't. I could even fetch the buzzer and barriers :-) Quote
Nick Algar - Competition Secretary Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 But what a cracking idea Only kidding of course Quote
John Williams (Panda) - Joint Manchester AO Posted May 14, 2015 Author Posted May 14, 2015 I was looking on ebay for traffic lights and there are a few for sale, do you have a sideline shaggy? 1 Quote
