GRBBONGO
Its a new and unused engine that came with the finished rolling chassis so i need everything to put on it to drop it in onto a MT75 box. Looking at running on 40's with NODIZ ecu i think. Will have a look at the exhaust now. Thanks
Kingster
I have a suitable flywheel and brand new clutch that will allow you to fit the zetec to the mt75.
blue ass fly
Have a look at bike carbs aswell Far less costly than webers and behave far better
GRBBONGO
Thanks Kingster996 i do need a new clutch youll have to let me know what you want for it with the postage. With regards to the flywheel it already has one fitted, but did think it was a bit of a no-brainer to invest in a lightened one as it is all out of the car. I did initially look at the bike carb route due to costs but what sort of power will i be down on twin 40's?
blue ass fly
You shouldnt see any power loss on bike carbs as long as theyre set up properly - but that applies to webers too You will see a more driveable engine at lower throttle opening and revs which will make the car seem more willing It will also respond quicker, idle smoother and stay in tune longer Sounds too good to be true doesnt it
Kingster
Its not just the lightness of the flywheel its the wrong one altogether as far as I know (others on here are more knowledgeable, so I could be corrected!) The one I have is off an escort and will do the job but is not modified to be lighter.
Kingster
Clutch is £30 and flywheel £25. Will check out postage costs tomorrow. Pm if interested. Chris
