harrypotter
NOW SOLD Roadrunner Sprint R1 For sale is my fabulous road registered single-seater: R1 injection engine 175 bhp approx Factory built on a '58 plate Featured in Kitcar Magazine July 2008 (magazine supplied) Very good condition throughout and has only done 10,345 miles Recent MOT and 6 months tax will be put on the car Plenty of tread left on the 888 tyres Try to imagine driving a single seater on the public highway with an engine that revs to 13,000 rpm and weighs 400 kg approx. Recently fitted grooved and drilled front discs and solid rear disc and new pads all round Oil and filter change Four point harness Snap off steering wheel Minilite style wheels Adjustable brake bias New lightweight batter Gear indicator Standard R1 shift light Bodywork in great condition (only the cycle wings a little scratched in places) and the quality of the fibreglass is excellent Twin exhausts with thrilling sound Inboard suspension all round and adjustable dampers There is no reverse gear fitted. At 400kg I have found it very easy to push around. Visit to view strongly recommended Selling as I have recently bought a full-on racing single seater and two single seaters in the garage is proving difficult to justify (it wasn't planned very well!) Racing doesn't leave me very much spare time to cruise around on the road. If you are inclined this would make a fabulous road-going hill climb/sprint or track car. I preferred to take the occasional run around the countryside or visit a car show. May part ex for the right SEight!

CrisisWolf
Having recently watched a YouTube video of a road legal Formula Ford and dribbling at my computer screen this seems like a real and far cheaper alternative. Sadly wont be able to sahre the garage with my Westfield but would love the oublic highway driving experience. Good luck with the sale! Hope to see one on the road soon. Quinten
My 15 year old son wants you to keep hold of it until he's old enough to buy, insure and run it... He was really smitten by it when he saw it at Donington
harrypotter
If he's a very good boy and does his homework and is nice to his mom......hang on he's a teenager! I may well still have it by then! Everybody loves it but few would get permission from SWMBO. Recently a biker at Shelsley hillclimb was very keen, then promptly wrote off his bike (after the finish line). I guess he has other things on his mind now, as well as a few aches and pains!
