Ok.... a question for the observant ones who spent some time queuing on the A11 Elveden bypass on Sunday..... on both sides of the road about 100 yard intervals about  12feet from the edge of the carriageway there were smallish constructions made from blocks of timber say 8"*5" *3 feet long 4 or 5 bolted together in 2 plies and connected by some sort of box section about 4 feet long and 6"*2" in section.

Really curious as to what they are there for......nothing more  :-)

Another thing I noticed that is dubious is the use of 'cheese slicer' central barrier..... cannot believe they are using this....... :-(
