Well bushes arrived yesterday - rear suspension removed - vice will not touch the bushes so took them to my local garage who rang me a couple of hours later to say that the wishbones won't fit into their press

So need to find another local garage/engineers to sort them for me

So defo in sumtin silver

Might be worth you all printing off the page from the website that says you can get in with classic car for a tenner as "individual owners" , bring it with you and show it to the gate person on arrival here http://www.iwm.org.uk/events/iwm-duxford/spitfires-merlins-and-motors-0

There is no need to go in as a club.

 

Also a tip: Bring some money for a classic aircraft flight - about £30. If you are up in the air at the same time as the Spitfires are, this is not something to be missed. There are also some nutters firing up some crate engines on the ground. There's usually a Merlin or two but the best sound comes from the Griffon.  :t-up:  :)

Just a final reminder that Duxford cannot guarantee that we will get in with the show cars - so we may have to park in the public parking - in which case we will have to pay standard entrance I assume - so no moaning I have made everyone aware :d:oops::t-up:
