Yeah, Jeremy likes to take swipes at American cars, but he does it even more to BL and Rover. I tried to watch the American version but gave up after less than half the episode. Dreadful show. I recently got the first 18 years on DVD and am up to season 11 now. Sorry, "American Stigg" was a character in the British Top Gear Road Trip episode filmed in the South, down round Florida, Louisiana etc. Stigg's American cousin, to give him his full title, was a rather portly gentleman in a rather tight white race suit. (Looked like Boss Hogg in a helmet, to be honest) I've never actually seen the actual American version.
