windy Posted September 11, 2003 Author Share Posted September 11, 2003 Reason for asking is that you only get one chance without practice to be judged. You are then either eliminated from the competition or are asked to to another run when you are judged again to compete with fewer people. It goes on for the day until they have a small number (10 or so) competing for the win. I figured even if I balls up my one attempt to convince the judges I still get a chance to stay and watch the others for the rest of the day FOC. It costs £10 to spectate or £50 to compete. For the sake of a chance of fame (or televised failure) on national TV it has to be worth the £40 extra over a spectators ticket anyday? Windy P.S. They tell me I am free to advertise what I like on my car.
