Glade
Taxed until Aug-14 MOT Until 05/06/2014 Leeds, West Yorkshire Spec: 1.6 16v Toyota 4AGE 168bhp @ 7300rpm (Last RR graph I have in the folder - a few years ago @ Mech Motorsport) 575kg at last corner weighting @ Mech Motorsport Dellorto 45's Raw Engineering Track Pack 1 CAMS, Vernier Pullies, Omex 100 Ecu Oil Catch Tank RAC Roll Cage GRP Seats Revolution Wheels Alloy Dampers, Springs & bespoke setup at Track Developments in 2006. I have decided to advertise the car because I don't have the time to use it, and would like to replace it with a more practical sports car. A real shame not to track it more often!! The car was built in 1994, and I have a folder of photos. My understanding is that the car was originally built to a high standard by two engineers from Tyrrell Motorsport, hence the Tyrrell stickers! I think it had two owners since, both were active with the WSCC, and plenty of people from WSCC who I have met seem to 'know' the car! Won in it's class in 2009 Westfield Speed Series with Paul Morcom driving, before he upgraded to a new car and sold this one to me. Since I have had the car in 2010 I have completed the following work: Inlet manifold was cracked - milled, welded & re-milled flat (by Zebedee engineering in Calne) Carbs mounted with new studs, misab plates & "cosworth" rubber mounts/washers. Fitted a (RAW Engineering sourced) Shortened Baffled Sump Replaced clutch slave cylinder Re-welded throttle pedal & replaced throttle cable Re-packed exhaust & mounted on new rubber bobbins New battery & tell tale lights added to dash for MOT this year. Carbon fibre Aeroscreen from Aerodynamix Carbon fibre boot panel (from my mate who works for a big composites company manufacturing Airbus wings!) 4" Dominator Headlights IMPORTANT - Timing belt replaced & cams re-timed @ 10,008 miles by RAW Engineering in June 2013. The carbs were balanced, fuel pressure set and re-jetted to RAW engineering spec. Since this work the car runs really well, but undoubtedly would be better with an hour on a rolling road. - It's booked in with Bogg Bros on 26th April to get this done before sale. The chassis looks brilliant, I steam cleaned as much as poss before winter 2011 and the powdercoat is almost totally undamaged throughout. There are some chips on the wishbones but they still look good. Bad points... The GRP bodywork is 20 years old, there are a few scrapes on the bonnet, and scrapes stonechips on the rear wings, but is in generally very good condition for it's age. Roof doesn't fit current roll bar & aeroscreen. I have a few bits & bobs, spare wheel, roof, original headlamps, boot etc that will come with the car.
