XTR2Turbo Posted December 14, 2002 Posted December 14, 2002 I understand that it is possible to get a tool that will tighten and then cut off cable ties. Does anyone know of a supplier? Regards David Quote
ACW Posted December 14, 2002 Posted December 14, 2002 I believe RS do them www.rswww.com. have a search on there. Not sure they are much use. Much better to tigten by hend and then use a really sharp pair of side cutter to cut absolutely flush with the ratchet. This way you wont get the sharp bit on the corners that snag your skin etc.. Blatman Posted December 15, 2002 Posted December 15, 2002 As ACW says, there's nothing wrong with a pair of opposable thumbs, and a good pair of parralel side cutters....... Quote
Noel Johnson Posted December 15, 2002 Posted December 15, 2002 I always find a sturdy pair of pliers helps as well. Merry Christmas. Quote
Ian Gratton Posted December 15, 2002 Posted December 15, 2002 We got one from Vehicle Wiring Products...and it works a treat. They are a nice bunch of people - always happy to help. Ian. Quote
