Barry S Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Full strip and rebuild by Phil Stewart at Road and Race Transmissions All 5 syncroes (sic) were destroyed, guess it did not like Ty Croes!! Shameless plug for Phil at Road and Race, gave him a call, rocked up at 08.00 and he did a full while u wait refresh by mid day, was back home by 14.00 and out of the garage by 23.00 all fitted and working Not too sure the neighbours appreciated my late night test session though! Barry S Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 yeh originally bought the box from Phil, always knew it would be a challenge with my set up, however, accoring to Phil (who knows his stuff) its not so much the power / revs more the race clutch and ultra light weight flywheel that limit life. The box is a joy to use and I reckon that with a more sane flywheel and sprung clutch it would be fine even with big power,,,, Quote
