I recognise that side plate. And the early SU carb.

 

But I can't think what it is.

Nothing as easy and not as common as mentioned so far.

Although designed and built by this company this model was strongly influenced by another manufacturer of those times.

And the cars engine although built here in blighty was actually a French design!

That sounds like a Morris which built Hotchkiss engines under license.

 

Is it the original Morris Minor?
